What is TXSCYPAA 30?

TXSCYPAA 30 is the 30th annual Texas State Conference of Young People in AA which is being held at the Hyatt Regency in Houston, Texas October 22nd - 24th. Online Pre-Registration for the Conference is now available for a discounted rate of $20. Book your hotel room early to take advantage of the special TXSCYPAA room rate of $89.00 per night.

All are welcome to attend the Conference and our events. We also hold Committee Meetings where we plan the Conference and all related activities. Anyone who would like to get involved and do some service work can join the Committee just by showing up to our regular monthly Committee Meetings.

TXSCYPAA was founded for the purpose of providing a setting for an annual celebration of sobriety among young people in AA. Since its inception, a growing group of people, who at first would not consider themselves as "young people," has become regular attendees. The number of young people suffering from alcoholism who turn to AA for help is growing, and TXSCYPAA helps to carry AA's message of recovery to alcoholics of all ages. This meeting provides an opportunity for young AA's from all over the world to come together and share their experience, strength, and hope as members of Alcoholics Anonymous. AA members who attend an TXSCYPAA return home better prepared to receive young people who come to AA looking for a better way of life.
